For the past two years Ran has visited Wei every month, flying to the United States from Shanghai, China. They met through Ran's best friend, who is married to Wei's cousin. Ran said from the first time he laid his eyes upon Wei that he knew she was the perfect woman. Married in Richmond, Virginia on New Year's Day, the couple will also exchange vows in the presence of their family in Shanghai, China.
